I think one of the best things I did when I was running an agency was launch our Grad Program.
We had no problem attracting great talent out of Uni, but found that most had limited knowledge when it came to anything digital.
We decided to help solve this by getting more involved in guest lecturing and student groups, but also by leaning into grad’s interest but lack of knowledge in the space by creating a structured grad program.
Hundreds of applicants each year. Dozens through the 1-year program, with most offered full time roles afterwards. Some of our brightest and highest achieving hires.
Despite that, I couldn’t find a single other agency doing it.
